SXSW Interactive 2014 – A Breakout Year
The South By Southwest Conference rocks Austin, TX every March and the 2014 interactive portion was by far the most successful for us with a flurry of corporate partnerships and memorable celebrity appearances! Texas Live Band Karaoke has been performing at SXSW Interactive since 2009 working with top tech companies including Cirrus Logic, Spiceworks, Dell, Thrillest.com, TBS, Dice.com and Samsung for their showcases and activations. We’re hired as auxiliary entertainment for a marquee artist or can be the focus of a party to get everybody totally engaged. We were excited to have some celebrity features in 2014 including songs with Robert Rodriguez, Russell Simmons and had a celebrity host in Colin Jost from Saturday Night Live!
Interactive Entertainment Year Round
Texas Live Band Karaoke is hired by the country’s top DMCs to throw engaging interactive shows all year round. We have our hostesses kick off many of our corporate shows just like our SXSW Interactive shows – with light-hearted contests to help break the ice and warm up the audience. The remainder of the night we invite guests to either join the band on stage or jump on social media to interact digitally… this live entertainment concept is all about participation with a great party band. In the song list you’ll find enough Motown, top 40, soul, R&B, rock, funk and jazz to cover everyone’s taste. We’re happy to be a cover band, tribute band or just your backing band for a killer party. Top musicians and over-the-top production makes for a totally unique and unforgettable experience!
